Indigo powder is great as a natural colourant in soap making. It can be used in melt and pour, cold process and hot process soaps to dye it a light natural green.

When used in soap making, indigo powder should be added to lye water. It is recommended to use 1 teaspoon per pound of soap to create a light green colour.
